This is the world's first truly wireless TV. It runs on four hot-swappable batteries.
Displace TV is a new product presented by the American TV manufacturer of the same name at CES 2023 in Las Vegas. The TV has a 55-inch 4K OLED screen. The display is dressed in a completely wireless case.
The device works at the expense of four built-in accumulators. When all of them are 100% charged, the autonomy of the device is just under eight days of continuous content viewing. If Displace TV works every day for six hours, then it will last a month.
It is convenient that the batteries can be changed not all at once, but selectively. And you can do it manually, even when the device is playing content.
The novelty weighs a little more than 9 kg - such a TV can be dragged with you from room to room. If desired, it can be fixed to the wall using "active circuit vacuum technology" (a special rod with vacuum suction cups). True, there is a problem with it: if all the batteries stop working at once, the TV may fall, since the “smart” capture system also needs power.
What is the price
The price of Displace TV is $3,000 (208,900 rubles at the exchange rate). The manufacturer also offers to buy a set of four panels. They can be combined into one large 110-inch panel with a resolution of 8K. You will have to pay $ 9,000 for such a set (626,400 rubles at the exchange rate).
Pre-order has already started. The first deliveries will begin in December 2023.
